Signature: "Monty/ Trottier" in blue felt tip. 3x5. Former minor league hockey player Monty Trottier (b. 1961) was the 68th overall pick by the New York Islanders in 1980 NHL Entry Draft, however, he never played in the NHL. He spent four seasons in the Central Hockey League playing for the Indianapolis Checkers (1980-1984), a season in the American Hockey League with the Springfield Indians (1984-1985) and his last season with the Checkers again in their move to the IHL in 1986-1986. He helped the Checkers win the CHL Adams cup in 1982 and 1983. Trottier has an older brother Bryan Trottier who was inducted into the NHL Hall of Fame, as well as a younger brother, Rocky Trottier, who also played in the NHL; together the brothers founded the TNT Hockey Academy in Westfield, Indiana. Corners slightly rounded. Light stains. Pencil notes on verso in unknown hand. Fine condition.
