The series, which starred Robin Williams as the zany Mork from the planet Ork, ran on ABC from 1978-1982 and was the most popular new series of the 1978-1979 season. Dawber later starred on My Sister Sam (1986-1988) and provided the voice of Perdy on the TV cartoon series of101 Dalmations (1997-1998). Married to actor Mark Harmon since 1987 (with two children), she appeared with him in the film I'll Remember April (1999). ROBIN MCLAURIN WILLIAMS (1951-2014), a brilliant improvisational comedian with almost no acting experience, first found fame on television as Mork, a space alien, in the TV sitcom, Mork and Mindy (1978-1982). The show established him as one of America's most popular comedians, but Williams would also prove that he could handle serious dramatic roles as well. He was nominated for Best Actor Academy Awards for Good Morning, Vietnam (1987), Dead Poets Society (1989) and The Fisher King (1991) before finally winning the Oscar as Best Supporting Actor forGood Will Hunting (1997).
