MÖTLEY CRÜE
Drumhead signed by all four members of hard rockers Mötley Crüe: Nikki Six, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars and Vince Neil
Drumhead signed "Tommy Lee", "Nikki/Six", "Vince/Neil" and "Mick/Mars" in black, blue and silver inks. 14½-inch diameter. Remo Weatherking drumhead. In 1981, bassist NIKKI SIX, born Franklin Carlton Serafino Feranna in Seattle, Washington in 1958) and drummer TOMMY LEE, born Thomas Lee Bass in Athens, Greece in 1962, decided to leave the bands they were in at the time and pursue a new project together. MICK MARS, born Bob Alan Deal in Terre Haute, Indiana in 1955, was hired to play guitar and VINCE NEIL, born Vince Neil Wharton in Hollywood, California in 1961, was added as vocalist. The band went through several name changes before Mars suggested Mottley Krue, recalling a time when his previous band was described as a "motley looking crew." After altering the spelling of their new name, Mötley Crüe became one of the most influential heavy metal bands of the 1980s. Their hits include Smokin in the Boys Room, Dr. Feelgood and Without You. The original group, which has broken up and reunited several times, will release their latest studio album in 2007. Lightly soiled. Lee and Six's signatures are lightly smeared, but legible. Neil and Mars' signatures cross. Otherwise in fine condition.
