MR. T. Photograph signed: "Mr T". Color, 10x8. Born Lawrence Tureaud in 1952, Mr. T is best known for his role as Sergeant Bosco "B.A." Baracus on the TV action series, The A-Team (1983-1987). Mr. T, who is known for his mohawk, bulging muscles, copious gold chains and trademark phrase, "I pity the fool", had worked as a gym teacher, military policeman, bouncer and bodyguard (his clients employers included Steve McQueen, Muhammad Ali and Diana Ross) before Sylvester Stallone saw him as a bouncer on the TV show, Games People Play, and offered him a role in Rocky III (1982). His subsequent film credits include Young Doctors in Love (1982), D.C. Cab (1983), Alice Through the Looking Glass (1985), Freaked (1993), Spy Hard (1996), Not Another Teen Movie (2001) and Judgment (2001). He has also appeared in several made-for-TV movies and guest starred on a number of TV shows. Mr. T, who had changed his name to Lawrence Tero in 1970, shortened it even further shortly after, was also involved in the world of pro wrestling in 1985-1986 and 1994-1995 (he was Hulk Hogan's tag team partner at the first Wrestlemania in 1985. Lightly creased at upper portion, touching hair and scalp. Minor surface crease (not evident head on) at forehead of facial image. Fine condition.
