Never Sang for My Husband". BERGEN starred as Murphy Brown, REGALBUTO
was Frank Fontana, FORD played Corky Sherwood, KIMBROUGH was Jim Dial, SHAUD was
Miles Silverberg, CORLEY was Phil and PASTORELLI was Eldin Bernecky. There
were 247 episodes televised on CBS from 1988-1998. In this episode, Jim
Dial's wife, Doris, feeling that her life is miserable, decides to become a
cabaret singer and Jim has a hard time dealing with it. Murphy Brown
won the Emmy Award for Best Comedy in 1989 and 1991. Bergen won Emmy Awards for
Best Actress in a Comedy in 1988, 1989, 1991, 1993 and 1994. Fine
