Photograph signed: "Love/Gale Storm" and "Chas Farrell". B/w, 8x10. Television still from My Little Margie. Gale Storm starred as Margie and Charles Farrell played her widowed father Vern Albright. The two resided in a New York apartment where "Margie" created mayhem and delighted in keeping the neighbors amused. My Little Margie debuted on television July 16, 1952 and the show climbed to number three in the national ratings before being cancelled after three seasons. It was also made into a radio show that made it into the top ten. After a decade in B movies, GALE STORM (1922-2009) became an early TV star in the sitcoms My Little Margie (1952-1955) and Oh! Susannah (1956-1959). In 1955, she had a pair of hit record singles, "Teenage Prayer" and "I Hear You Knocking". CHARLES FARRELL (1901-1990) a popular leading man of late silent's and early talkies, teamed with Janet Gaynor in 12 screen romances between 1927 and 1934, including singing roles in Sunny Side Up (1929). Farrell served seven years as Mayor of Palm Springs, California, a town whose prosperity had been boosted by his popular Hollywood Racquet Club there. Fine condition.
