NANCY DUSSAULT
Smiling photograph of the Tony award winning actress, signed in blue ink.
Inscribed photograph signed: "To Robert-/Thank you/for you/lovely/letter/Nancy/Dussault" in blue ink. B/w, 8x10. Singer and actress Nancy Dussault (b. 1936) took over the role of Maria in West Side Story in 1961. She secured two Tony nominations as Best Featured Actress in a Musical (Do Re Mi, 1961; Bajour, 1965). She may be best remembered, however, as Ted Knight's spouse on the TV sitcom Too Close for Comfort (1981-1986). She was also a regular on The New Dick Van Dyke Show and Mad About You. In 1975 she became the first co-anchor of Good Morning America. She made several TV guest appearances, including Alias and Judging Amy, early in the new century. Inscription and signature in two different pens. Signature in poor contrast, faintly legible. Lightly creased at corners. Sticker on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
