Nancy Kovack (b. 1935) earned a few dozen credits in film and television. She
had major roles in Jason and the Argonauts (as Medea, 1963), The Great Sioux
Massacre (as Mrs. Custer, 1965) and the Elvis Presley vehicle Frankie and Johnny
(as Nellie Bly, 1965). Her television guest appearances included several
episodes of Bewitched (1968). After marrying conductor Zubin Mehta in 1969,
Kovack phased out her acting career. Her last screen appearance was in a
1976 episode of Cannon. The couple has lived in Europe for many years, where
Mehta has worked as the music director of the Bavarian State Opera and the
Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for
her performance in an episode of Mannix (in 1967). Fine condition.
