No place, 1989 March 23. Headed: "Statement Pursuant to Section 508 of the Communications Act of 1934 - Guest". Wilson affirms that neither she nor anyone acting in her behalf has received anything of value from NBC besides her "regular compensation for services on the program" and that she will not promote any product, service or venture on the air during her appearance on the Today show. Ink notes (unknown hand), including Wilson's name, the date and the name of the show, at lower portion. Eight months after making her appearance on the Today show, Wilson would guest star on an episode of The Cosby Show. Sultry songstress Nancy Wilson (1937-2018) is best known for her jazz renditions, although she has also crossed over into pop and R&B, winning the 1964 Grammy Award for Best Rhythm & Blues Recording for "How Glad I Am", one of her biggest hits. Wilson also hosted the Emmy Award-winning variety series, The Nancy Wilson Show, on NBC in 1966 and has appeared as a guest performer on several variety programs. She was inducted into the Big Band and Jazz Hall of Fame in 1999. Lightly creased. 2 light stains at left portion above paragraphs 2 and 3. Black marks from photocopying at upper right blank margin.
