RONALD REAGAN'S MOTHER ANSWER'S HER SON'S FAN MAIL, SIGNING HER SON'S
NAME!
NELLE W. REAGAN. Autograph Letter Signed: "Ronald
Reagan" BY HIS MOTHER, 2p, 5x3 card (front and verso). To Nancy. In
full: "Many Thanks for the Birthday Card and I'll appreciate it just as
much as if it came on the real Birth date. You see I was born Feb. 6th. it
was my brother Neil who was born Feb Sept 6th but I guess one
of the magazines did make the mistake of printing that my natal day was Sept 1st
or some date in that month. Any way I am more fortunate than a lot of folk
by getting many cards on both dates. Feb 6th is the correct date. I thank you
again for thinking of me. Most Sincerely & Gratefully". Lightly creased.
After Ronald Reagan made his first Hollywood film in 1937, he asked his parents

envelope, 6¼x3½, machine postmarked Burbank, Calif., November 18, 1949.
Signed in upper left by Nelle: "Ronald Reagan". Addressed by Mrs.
Reagan to: "Nancy Kragey/13518 Detroit Ave./Cleveland/Ohio". Torn
