NESSA HYAMS (b. 1941), the sister of actor Peter Hyams and the granddaughter of impresario Sol Hurok, has been casting director on many films since the early 1970s, including Summer of 42, and Blazing Saddles and The Exorcist. She has directed occasionally, mostly for television, and was producer on the film The Saint of Fort Washington (1993). Peter Brooks appeared in the film Magnum Force as "boy in discount store", though his part may have not been used in the final cut of the film.
