in green felt tip.

"Steve Tannin" and 1 unidentified signer. In all 15 signatures on the
first sheet; "John Riggins", "Paul/Crane", "Scott Palmer",

In all 20 signers on the second sheet. 2 pages, 11x8½. The 1970
New York Jets under head coach Weeb Ewbank finished 4-10, third place in the
AFC East. But this team was only two seasons removed from the Super Bowl
championship team of 1968, which had garnered the first victory for a team from
pre-merger American Football League over the heavily favored Baltimore Colts,
and had gone 21-7 over the prior two seasons. Not until 1981 would the Jets have
another winning season, but the signers here include many of the stars from the
glory seasons. Signers here include Hall of Fame quarterback JOE NAMATH,
and Pro Bowlers MATT SNELL (fullback), GEORGE SAUER (wide
receiver), DON MAYNARD (flanker), JIM TURNER (kicker), and
GERRY PHILBIN (defensive end). In overall fine condition, with a few
creases at the lower left and right corners of both pages and a central vertical
fold passing through a couple names.
