Inscribed Signature: "Nick Dallis/Best wishes to a/fellow Detroiter!/Oct. 10, 1968", 6¾x9¼ album leaf. Affixed are a newspaper photo (B/w, 2¼x2¾) at upper right; and a short printed biography (5¾x2¼) at lower portion. While a practicing psychiatrist, Nicholas Dallis (1911-1991) created three successful comic strips: Rex Morgan, M.D. (1948), Judge Parker (1952) and Apartment 3-G (1961). All three were "soap operas" written under pseudonyms, but all drew too on his professional expertise. All have continued in syndication since Dallis' death. Jagged at left margin from removal from bound book. Otherwise, fine condition.
