Inscribed photograph signed: "A Emerize/cordialità/Nic. Ghiuselev", in black felt tip, B/w 4¾x7. Bulgarian operatic bass Nicola Ghiuselev (b. 1936) made his stage debut in Turandot as Timur in 1960. After his debut, he began touring with the Sofia Opera Company, performing in France, Germany, the Netherlands, and New York. He performed for two seasons with the Metropolitan Opera, appearing in Don Carlo, Aida, and Boris Godunov. His tenure with at the Met was followed by debuts at the Berlin State Opera, La Scala, Vienna State Opera, and the Royal Opera House. Corners slightly worn and creased. Light surface creases and dents (not seen head on). Otherwise, fine condition.
