Inscribed signature: "To Max/Noelle Adam" in blue ink.
Lead pencil notations on verso in unknown hand. 5x3 card.French-born
actress and dander Adam, born in 1933, appeared in 17 films, most of them
French-language productions, between 1957 and 1999. These included starring
roles in Comme un Cheveu Sur la Soupe (1957), Ni Vu, Ni Connu
(1958), Sergeant X (1959), Le Meraviglie Di Aldino (1961),
L'Homme Orchestre (1970) and the English-language exploitation film
Beat Girl (1959). She also appeared numerous times on Toast of the
Town during the late 1950s and early 1960s as a dancer. Adam was married to
Sydney Chaplin, one of Charlie Chaplin's sons (1960-1968) and later to longtime
companion Serge Reggiani (2003-2004). Lightly toned, soiled creased and bowed.
Adhesive residue in bottom right corner. Rounded and worn corners. Otherwise in
fine condition.
