margin. Duane Allen (b. 1943) joined The Oak Ridge Boys as lead singer in
1966, participating in the group's transition from southern gospel to country
music. He can be heard on the group's biggest hits, including "Elvira"
(1966), "Bobby Sue" (1982) and "American Made" (1983). Originally formed as the
Oak Ridge Quartet in the late 1940s, the group changed its name officially to
Oak Ridge Boys in the early sixties. Fine condition.
