Typed letter signed "Ogden L Mills" in blue ink. 1 page, 8¼x10¾, on Mills' personalized stationery. Dec. 8, 1933. Addressed to Mr. Elmer Parker, Mount Vernon, Georgia. In full: "Dear Mr. Parker: Referring to yours of November 26th, I am only too pleased to comply with your request. Sincerely yours,". Mills (1884-1937) was President Herbert Hoover's Secretary of the Treasury (1932-1933) as well as U. S. Representative from New York's 17th Congressional District (1921-1927) and a New York state senator (1914-1917). Lightly toned and creased. Light dents at top edge. Folded in half horizontally and twice vertically and unfolded. Otherwise in fine condition.
