Child film star Jackie Cooper (1922-2011) appeared first in Hal Roach's Our Gang comedies, then earned an Oscar nomination as Skippy (1931). He co-starred with Wallace Beery in several films of the 1930s, including The Champ and Treasure Island. As an adult, his film opportunities diminished, but Cooper had two hit TV series in the 1950s, The People's Choice and Hennessy. He won an Emmy (1973) for directing episodes of M*A*S*H. Cooper played newspaper editor Perry White in all four of the Christopher Reeves Superman movies (1981-1987). Dorothy DeBorba (1925-2010) appeared in 24 of the Our Gang comedies between 1930 and 1933, beginning with Pups is Pups. The stage crew called her Echo, for her habit of mimicking (and parodying) what other gang members had said. A popular figure at fan conventions, she has signed here with her married name. Mary Ann Jackson (1923-2003) was "Mary" in 33 Our Gang comedies between 1927 and 1933, starting in the silent era and continuing after the advent of talkies. The beloved ensemble cast of child actors was revived for TV as The Little Rascals in the 1950s. Fine condition.
