Laserdisc signed "[illegible]/Pamela" in blue ink. Color, 12¼x12¼. Disc not included. Package design and summary ©1995 PolyGram Video, content ©PolyGram Film Productions B.V. Anderson, who was billed as "Pamela Anderson Lee", had the titular role as a futuristic bounty hunter in Barb Wire (1996), which was based on the comic book of the same name. This is an unrated version of the movie with "extra sexy footage of Pamela Anderson Lee exclusive to video". Barb Wire was "honored" with six Razzie Award nominations, including one for Worst Picture (which it lost to Striptease) and a win for Anderson for Worst New Star. Anderson, born in Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada in 1967, who set a record by appearing on six Playboy covers, became one of the leading sex symbols of the 1990s after she joined the cast of the syndicated TV series Baywatch as lifeguard C. J. Parker (1992-1997). She went on to star in another TV series, V.I.P. (1998-2002). Anderson and rock drummer husband Tommy Lee were the center of much controversy, thanks to a steamy honeymoon video, a subsequent divorce and child custody battle and her claim (2002) that she contracted Hepatitis C by sharing a tattoo needle with him. Lightly creased. Light impressions and scratches on cover (not visible head-on). Otherwise in fine condition.
