PASSENGER 57 MOVIE CAST: WESLEY SNIPES and BRUCE PAYNE
The actors sign still from their 1992 action film in blue ink
Printed photograph signed in ink: "Wesley/ Snipes" and "Bruce/ Payne" in blue ink. B/w, 10x8. Still from the 1992 film Passenger 57. Versatile American leading man WESLEY SNIPES (b. 1962) got his start on the stage, with two appearances on Broadway between 1985 and 1986, before making his movie debut in Wildcats (1986). The year after, he appeared the full-length version of Martin Scorsese's video for Michael Jackson's Bad (1987). His performance there as a street tough caught the notice of director Spike Lee, who cast him opposite Denzel Washington in Mo' Better Blues (1990) and his breakout role in Jungle Fever (1991). Snipes has put together a varied resume since then, with comedies (White Men Can't Jump, 1992), thrillers(The Fan, 1996) anddramas (The Waterdance, 1991). A karate black belt, he's also proven himself an action hero, and occasional villain, in movies like Passenger 57 (1992), Demolition Man (1993) and the Blade series (1998-2004). Snipes bucked his own testosterone-soaked image with a drag role in 1995's To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar. BRUCE PAYNE (b. 1958) is an English character actor and producer, known as a member of the famous 1980s "Brit Pack" of actors who achieved success in Hollywood. Payne is best remembered for his villainous roles in films such as Passenger 57 (1992), Highlander: Endgame (2000), and Dungeons & Dragons (2000). He has furthermore appeared in many prominent stage productions including Tis Pity She's a Whore, Cabaret, Macbeth, and The Pillars of Society at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Corners rounded and slightly creased. Fine condition.
