Contract for Harrington's role as Joe Tate in the television film The Healers, appearing in the
film for the weekly salary of $2,875 and an advance for foreign telecasting for $250.00. Best
remembered for his Emmy-winning role as Schneider, the building maintenance man
from the hit TV sitcom One Day At a Time (1975-1984), Pat Harrington (1929-2016)
was the son and namesake of a prominent vaudeville star. He played some comic film roles,
notably in The President's Analyst (1967). His greatest success came on television, however,
from numerous appearances on the shows of Steve Allen and Jack Parr in the 1950s
pretending to be an Italian golf pro, to guest shots on many comedy and drama programs,
most recently Hot In Cleveland (2012). Harrington won a Golden Globe and a Primetime
Emmy during his career. Light surface creases. Multiple folds. Toned. Binding holes on
upper margin. Corners slightly worn. Staple holes in upper left corner. Ink slightly haloed.
Otherwise, fine condition.
