The NHL hockey player of three New York teams signs this Islanders
hockey puck in silver felt tip
Hockey puck signed: "Pat LaFontaine" in silver felt. Official
NHL puck of the NY Islanders. Pat LaFontaine (b. 1965) joked that he
played his entire NHL career without ever having to change license plates. The
hockey center played for the New York Islanders (1983-1991), Buffalo Sabres
(1991-1997) and New York Rangers (1997-1998). He scored a career 1,013 points,
including 468 goals, and recorded 1.17 points per game played, the highest
average ever for an American-born hockey player. A serious concussion
shortened his career, but he entered the Hall of Fame in 2003. Lightly
soiled. Otherwise, fine condition.
