Photograph inscribed and signed: "To Susan - Pat Sajak". B/w, 8x10. Television and radio personality Pat Sajak (born 1946) spent time in Saigon broadcasting for Armed Forces Radio. After his discharge, he moved from radio into television, eventually becoming a weatherman at KNBC in Los Angeles. Sajak began hosting a daytime version of Wheel of Fortune in 1981 - together with Vann White, more than 5000 tapings have been aired. Throughout the 1990s, the quiz show, created by Merv Griffin, was TV's top-rated evening game show. From 1989-1990 he hosted his own short-lived late-night program, The Pat Sajak Show. In 1969 a Sesame Street Muppet was created in his image and named Pat Playjacks - the nicest game show host. Lightly creased at corners. Name written in ink (unknown hand) on verso, light impression (not evident head on) at upper right background. Fine condition.
