Autograph Note signed: "To Jim/Best wishes -/Patricia Cutts", 4½x3 card. Signed perpendicular to a typed caption. Patricia Cutts (1926-1974), the daughter of English writer and director Graham Cutts, appeared in several films of the late 1950s, co-starring with Vincent Price in The Tingler (1958) and having a small role in Hitchcock's North by Northwest the following year. In the 1960s, she limited herself to guest appearances on British and US TV, but in 1974, she was chosen for the role of Blanche Hunt in the popular British soap opera Coronation Street. After only two episodes, however, she was found dead in her home, an apparent suicide. Maggie Jones took over the role and played it for 35 years until her own death in 2009. Lightly toned at edges. Ink note (unknown hand) on verso. Fine condition.
