Ewing, who has signed his name and number on the back of the heel at its high top. Sneaker is
12½ inches long, about size 14. It has never been worn. Patrick Ewing was the #1 pick out
of Georgetown in 1985, with the distinction of being the first lottery pick ever. He was the
Georgetown Hoyas' all-time leading shot blocker and rebounder and is second on their scoring
list. Ewing was a Final Four regular, appearing in three NCAA Championship games, and
winning it all in 1984 when he was named the Tournament MVP. He was named the AP and
"Sporting News" Player of the Year in 1985 and was a unanimous first team All-American pick
in 1984 and 1985. Ewing won a Gold Medal in the 1984 Summer Olympics before NBA
players were allowed on the team. Ewing made the All-Star team in 11 of his 17 seasons
with the NBA, averaging 21 points and 9.8 rebounds in his career. He was voted one of the
