PAUL FORD
Handwritten note on a 5x3 card
Autograph Note signed: "To Annie,/All good things,/Paul Ford", 5x3 card. Paul Ford (1901-1976) hit the big time in 1955, when he was engaged to play the apoplectic "Colonel Hall" to Phil Silvers' "Sergeant Bilko" on the situation comedy, You'll Never Get Rich. During that period, Ford worked steadily in the theatre, recreating his popular stage role as Colonel Purdy in Teahouse for the August Moon. He scored a major success in 1965 in the play Never Too Late. The play was filmed in 1967, with Ford once again in the starring role. Fine condition.
