Self Caricature signed: "Paul Foster", 8½x11. His facial
drawing (eyes, nose and mouth) in blue ink, signed with the same pen. Paul
Foster (b. 1951) has written 18 plays and 4 produced TV and film scripts. He has
received awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment
for the Humanities, and the Rockefeller and Guggenheim foundations. He is lead
writer for two internet websites devoted to the arts, and has lectured worldwide
for the State Department. While only one of his plays (Elizabeth I, 1972)
has appeared on Broadway, he has authored many off-Broadway productions, several
debuting at the renowned La MaMa Café. Lightly creased. Horizontal mailing
folds. Ink note (unknown hand) on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
