Matted to 10x11. After success as a local newscaster in Chicago (1944-1951), Paul Harvey
(1918-2009) began a daily, coast-to-coast program, News and Comment, for ABC Radio. He
later added a second ABC broadcast, The Rest of the Story (1976). Harvey's commentaries
were carried on more than 1200 commercial radio stations, 400 Armed Forces Network
stations and in 300 newspapers. His features often had a surprise ending, followed by his
closing line, "And that's the rest of the story." Harvey's popular commentary was published in
a number of books, including Paul Harvey's The Rest of the Story and Paul Harvey's For
What It's Worth. Fine condition.
