Receipt signed: "Paul Jones" in black pencil. 1 page, 3½x5½.
Receipt from Paramount Continental Café located at Paramount Studios in Los
Angeles, California. Stamped January 29, 1952. Paul Jones (1901-1968)
was an American film producer, best known for being a favorite of
performers such as Preston Sturges, Bob Hope, Dean Martin, and Jerry Lewis.
Working almost exclusively for Paramount Pictures, his long credits list
includes The Lady Eve (1941), Sullivan's Travels
(1941), Road to Morocco (1942), The Palm Beach Story
(1942), Here Come the Girls (1953) and The Disorderly
Orderly (1964). Jones also produced A Southern Yankee
(1948) for MGM. Top edge irregularly torn and frayed. Toned. Light surface
creased. Slightly smeared but not on signature. Otherwise, fine
condition.
