Promotional photo for the 1979 film A Man, A Woman and a Bank, captioned
in lower margin. Paul Mazursky (1930-2014) began his entertainment career
as a stage and screen actor, appearing in Stanley Kubrick's first film Fear
and Desire (1953). While he often appeared on screen sometimes and directed
throughout his career, Marzursky attained most fame as a screenwriter. He was
nominated for four Oscars for Best Writing with Bob & Carol & Ted
& Alice (1969), Harry and Tonto (1974), An Unmarried Woman
(1978) and Enemies: a Love Story (1989). Other successful scripts by
Mazursky include Moscow on the Hudson (1984) and Down and Out in
Beverly Hills (1986). More recent films in which he wore two hats as
actor and director include Faithful (1996) and Coast to Coast
(2003). Mazursky's first screenplay was the pilot for The Monkees TV
series (1966). Light edge creases. Otherwise, fine condition.
