England, United Kingdom. In full: "Dear Miss Mitchell, Thank you for
the thoughtful gift, and your warm and friendly letter. They were deeply
appreciated. Please forgive my delay in answering, but many unforeseen
difficulties have arisen to interrupt my correspondence schedule. Again, thanks
for your kind gesture. With all good wishes, I am Sincerely".Paul
Muni (1895-1967) was nominated for the 1928-1929 Academy Award for Best
Actor for his first feature film role, drifter James Dyke in The
Valiant. He was also nominated for Best Actor Oscars for roles in
I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang (1932-1933), The Story of
Louis Pasteur (1936), The Life of Emile Zola (1937) and
The Last Angry Man (1959), winning for his portrayal of Louis
Pasteur. Folds and creases through signature. Lightly creased at corners.
