PAUL PETERSON This script from an episode of The Donna Reed Show features a printed facsimile signature of the child actor who began his career as a Mouseketeer Script Unsigned: facsimile signature "Paul/ Peterson/ Jeff”. B/w, 8½x11. Thirty-seven pages. This script is for the episode “Do Me a Favor, Don't Do Me Any Favors”, which aired on October 28, 1965. Produced by Tony Owen. The Donna Reed Show ran from 1958 to 1966. Paul Peterson (b. 1945) was an original Mouseketeer (1955), but was fired from the cast for "conduct unbecoming", reportedly punching a casting director. He went on to a bigger role, playing Donna Reed's son Jeff on The Donna Reed Show (1958-1966). He cut some minor pop record hits in this era, including "My Dad" and "Lollipops and Roses." Although he made many television guest appearances and appeared in a few films (Gidget Grows Up) over the next decade, he was not in demand as an adult actor and left the profession. Peterson went back to college, wrote several books - including novels and a memoir (Walt, Mickey and Me, 1977), and founded A Minor Consideration. The nonprofit organization offers guidance and support to child actors. Unsigned. Fine condition.
