Autograph Note Signed: "Hi Leonard/Good Cooking/Good Eating/Good Loving /Chef Paul", 5¼x3¾. Printed images. Chef Paul Prudhomme (1940-2015) opened K-Paul's Louisiana Kitchen in New Orleans in July 1979. The modest, 62-seat restaurant, named after the chef and his late wife, became an overnight sensation for its distinctive menu offerings, including the spicy Cajun cuisine of Chef Paul's native Louisiana. One of America's best-known chefs, he is frequently seen on network television and has written numerous articles and best-selling cookbooks. Among his many accolades are a "Restaurateur of the Year" award from the Louisiana State Restaurant Association (1983) and the distinction of being the first American-born chef to receive the coveted Merité Agricole of the French Republic.
