PAUL R. EHRLICH
Signed photograph of the American biologist made famous by his
theories on population growth in The Population Bomb. (5x7)
Photograph signed: "Fight for environmental quality!/Paul R
Ehrlich", in black ink. B/w, 5x7. American biologist and entomologist
Paul R. Ehrlich (b.1932) is best known for his controversial 1968 book
The Population Bomb, which theorizes the negative effects of

originally predicted; however, he still stands firm by his general thesis that
the growing human population is a direct threat to the health of the planet. He
is the Bing Professor of Population Studies in the department of Biological
Sciences at Stanford University and president of Stanford's Center for
Conservation Biology. He has been awarded the Crafoord Prize (1990) and is a
Fellow of the Royal Society (2012). Lightly bowed. Fine
condition.
