Books written by Gallico, a former movie critic and sports writer, include The Snow Goose (1941) and The Poseidon Adventure (1969), books for children (such as Matilda, 1970) and books about cats. While sports editor for the New York "Daily News" (1923-1936), Gallico founded the Golden Gloves amateur boxing tournament. Fold crease not near signature. Fine condition.
