Typed letter signed: "D'Attoli" in black ink. 1 page, 5¾x8¼.
Written on "Presidencia de la Nacion/ Secretaria Rivada" letterhead. Original
mailing envelope included. Buenos Aires, Argentina. March 2, 1976. Addressed to
Mr. Alan Jones of Nottingham, England. In full (roughly translated):
"According to your request, I send you a photograph [not included]
of Her Excellency Mrs. President of the Nation. Thank you sincerely".
Written only two days before President Isabel Martinez de Peron was
overthrown in a military coup d'état, eventually naming General Jorge Rafael
Videla as President. Dr. Pedre Antonio D'Attoli served as President Peron's
private secretary. Creased throughout. Corners creased. Toned. Slightly soiled
throughout. Otherwise, fine condition.
