Peg Murray (1924-2020) is an American stage and television actress, most known for her roles on Broadway. She began on Broadway with a role in The Great Sebastians (1956), and continued to act on Broadway for 32 years. Her biggest role was co-starring in the original production of Cabaret! as Fraulein Kost, a role that won her a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play. She later appeared in a string of day time television roles, with recurring roles on The Doctors and the Nurses (1962), Me & Mrs. C (1986), and All My Children (1986). John A. Willis (1916-2010), active in Theatre World from the beginning, became its chief editor in 1965, holding that position until 2008. Willis is regarded as one of the foremost theatre and film historians of the 20th century. While producing (and presenting) the annual Theatre World Awards, Willis also served on the nominating committee for the Tony Awards. Theatre World, which received its own Tonyfor Excellence in Theatre in 2001, continues under chief editor Ben Hodges. Light surface creases. Ink notes (unknown hand).
