King (born in 1930) made her debut as a singer in the 1952 film, The Bad
and the Beautiful. She appeared in several other films, including
Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy (1955) and Zero Hour!
(1957), but she is best known for appearing on The George Gobel
Show (1954-1956), on which Gobel would introduce her as Pretty,
Perky Peggy King. King also made guest appearances on several other TV
shows, from Dragnet (1955) to The Mike Douglas Show (1967).
