Both sign replicas of their sports cards on an letter-sized ad promoting a sports collectors convention.
Advertisement signed: "Pelé", "W. Hirmez". Color, 8½x11. Advertisement for the 12th annual Sports Collectors Convention, Anaheim, California, July 2-7, 1991. Each has signed on the reproduced image of a soccer sports card. Soccer great PELÉ (Edson Arantes do Nascimento) led Brazil to three World Cup titles (1958, 1962, 1970). He came to the United States in 1975 to play for the New York Cosmos in the North American Soccer League and scored 1,281 goals in 22 years. Later he became Brazil's Minister of Sport. WAAD HIRMEZ grew up playing soccer in the streets of Baghdad, less than a mile from Saddam Hussein's Presidential Palace. He left Iraq in 1979 to play professional soccer with the San Diego Sockers and other US soccer teams. Now a US citizen, he has coached the sport from high school to professional level and instructed at summer camps. Fine condition.
