1940) has starred in no fewer than 8 British TV series, including the
role as Margo Ledbetter on The Good Life which first vaulted her to
stardom in 1976. Equally successful was To the Manor Born
(1977-1981). (She also starred in a radio version of the latter, and in a
4-part BBC documentary To the Manor Re-born (2011). She won
consecutive BAFTA awards for The Good Life (1977) and The Norman
Conquests (1978). Her lengthy stage credits include an Olivier Award
as Best Comedy Performance for Donkey Years (1976). In 1990, Keith
succeeded Lord Olivier as President of the Actors' Benevolent Fund.
Honored with an OBE in 1990 for her acting career, she received a CBE in 2007
for "charitable services". Fine condition.
