Titled by Rugolo: "'The Fugitive Theme'". The Fugitive, for which Rugolo wrote the theme music, aired from 1963-1967. Composer Pete Rugolo (born in Sicily in 1915) became well known as a composer and arranger for the Stan Kenton Orchestra and he later directed and produced jazz recordings, but he is best known for his Emmy Award-winning and nominated music for TV. His many television credits include themes and music for such series as Richard Diamond, Private Detective (1957), Leave It to Beaver (1962-1963), The Thin Man (1959), Checkmate (1960-1962), The Tab Hunter Show (1960-1961), Thriller (1960-1962), Dr. Kildare (1961-1966), Run for Your Life (1965-1968), Felony Squad (1966-1969), The Outsider (1968-1969), Hawaii Five-O (1968-1980), M*A*S*H (1972-1983), Toma (1973-1974) and Family (1976-1980) as well as The Fugitive. Rugolo also wrote for films, from Road to Bali (1952) to This World, Then the Fireworks (1997). Slightly creased. Fine condition.
