Eccentric English actor Peter Bayliss (1922-2002) appeared in numerous
television shows and films throughout his fifty year career. He appeared in some
of England's most popular television series such as A Tale of Two
Cities (1965), The Hole in the Wall (1972), The Fenn
Street Gang (1971-1973) and Coronation Street (1989); and
in very memorable movies such as From Russia with Love (1963),
Darling (1965), Old Drac (1974), and Merlin
(1998). Bayliss was also a frequent face on the West End and on Broadway,
such as The Matchmaker (1955), How's the World Treating
You? (1966) and Rockefeller and the Red Indians (1968).
