PETER JACOBSEN
B/w enlargement of a trading card of golfer Peter Jacobsen, with his head down and driving the club through the ball. Signed in red ink.
Photograph signed "Peter Jacobsen" in red ink. B/w, 8x10 overall, 8x8¾ image, one surface. Enlargement of a Jacobsen PGA Tour Pro Set trading card. Captioned at top: "Official PGA Tour Card". Captioned at bottom: "Peter Jacobsen". Jacobsen, born in 1954, is an American professional golfer. He played golf in college and turned pro in 1976. As this biography, Jacobsen has a total of 22 wins, with 7 PGA Tour wins and 2 Champions Tour wins, including the 2004 U. S. Senior Open. He's been on six Ryder Cup teams, including the victorious 1985 and 1995 U. S. teams. A laid-back and colorful player, Jacobsen has a sharp but lighthearted sense of humor; fans of the bar game Golden Tee Golf may recognize his voice as the game's commentator and have probably been on the receiving end of his wit after bad shots. Lightly bowed. Signature has low contrast in places but is legible. Photograph is grainy and blurred. Caption and logo are cut off at top edge. Otherwise in fine condition.
