Typed letter signed: "Peter Lefcourt", in blue ink, 8½x11. November 14, 1984. Baltimore, Maryland. In part: "Dear Mr. Doran, Thank you for your prompt reply to my letter of last week. I appreciate the information about the book, which I am trying to track down here in Los Angeles. In this regard, could you send me the address of order form with which I can send away for the book. I'd like to have a look at it". American television producer and screenwriter Peter Lefcourt (b. 1941) is most known for his work on several 1980's series, most popularly Scarecrow and Mrs. King (1983), Eight is Enough (1981), and Cagney and Lacey (1983). His work on Cagney and Lacey earned him a 1984 Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Drama Series, with him winning the next year in the same category. He also acted as producer on several of the series he wrote for, including Scarecrow and Cagney and Lacey. In recent years, he has written and produced for several popular series, and had his own movie released in 2013 based on his play, Sweet Talk. Corners slightly worn and creased. Toned, esp. on bottom margin. Small tear on right margin. Light surface creases. Normal mailing folds. Otherwise, fine condition.
