Lobby Card signed: "Phil Silvers". Color, 14x11 overall, image 11½x8¼ (one surface). Publicity for film Top Banana. © 1954 United Artists Corporation. In this film, Silvers reprised his Tony-winning Broadway role of 1950. Television viewers will remember him best as Sergeant Bilko, winner of five Emmys in the sitcom You'll Never Get Rich (1955-1959). His Broadway successes include Yokel Boy (1939), High Button Shoes (1947), Top Banana, Do Re Mi (1960), and a revival of A Funny Thing Happened On the Way To the Forum (1971, and his second Tony). Lightly soiled. Staple holes at edges. ¼-inch tear near center of left edge. Ink note on verso (no show through). Otherwise, fine condition.
