Signature: "Good luck-/Philip Abbott" in black felt tip, 5x3 card. After highly decorated air force service in World War II, Philip Abbott (1923-1998) debuted on stage in 1948 and in film in 1957. His noteworthy films include The Bachelor Party (1957) and Sweet Bird of Youth (1962). He had a long-running part as Assistant Director Ward on the television series The FBI (1965-1974). He appeared in numerous other television series including The Six Million Dollar Man (1977), The Young and the Restless (1986), Rich Man Poor Man - Book II (1976-1977) and Murder She Wrote (1988, 1989, 1995).
