Photograph signed: "Philip Bosco". B/w, 8x10 overall, image 7¼x7¾ (one surface). Stage, screen
and television actor Philip Bosco (1930-2018) won a Tony Award in 1990 for Lend Me a
Tenor, and he has been nominated for Tony Awards four times: The Rape of the Belt (Best
Supporting Actor, 1961), Heartbreak House (Best Supporting Actor, 1984), You Never Can
Tell (Best Actor, 1987) and Moon Over Buffalo (Best Actor, 1996). Bosco, who made his
film debut in 1968's A Lovely Way to Die, has been seen in a number of feature films, most
notably in The Money Pit and Children of A Lesser God (both 1986) and Working Girl
(1988). His other films include Three Men and a Baby (1987), The First Wives Club (1996),
My Best Friend's Wedding (1997), Wonder Boys (2000), Kate & Leopold (2001) and
Hitch (2005). Bosco has also been a regular on the daytime soap, The Guiding Light (1979),
and the series Tribecca (1993), and he has made several guest starring appearances on other TV
shows, from Armstrong Circle Theatre (1961) to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2004).
Bosco appeared in a made-for-TV movie, Bonanno: A Godfather's Story, narrated a TV
special, The Birth of Ohio Stadium, was featured on another special, New York: A
Documentary Film, guest starred on two TV series, Law & Order and Spin City, and was
the narrator for an episode of Nature. Fine condition.
