Hand Sketch signed: "Phil Knight smj", in black ink, 7½x10. Black ink tracing of his left hand. Affixed on verso is a Typed Letter signed: "Philip H. Knight", 1 page 7¼x10½. Republic, Missouri, 2002 December 23. On his personal Nike stationary to Mr. Polk. In full: "Thank you for your recent letter. Per your request, I have enclosed an autograph tracing of my hand. I hope you continue to be an enthusiastic NIKE supporter. Sincerely," Phil Knight (born February 24, 1938) is the co-founder and chairman of Nike, Inc. He attended the University of Oregon and Stanford Business School. He ran track at the University of Oregon and he co-founded Nike with his track coach Bill Bowerman. As of 2010 his stake in Nike gives him an estimated net worth of $12.7 Billion dollars making him the 58th richest person in the world. He has donated over a hundred million dollars to the Stanford Graduate School of Business, the University of Oregon and Oregon Health & Science University's Cancer Institute. Fine condition.
