Nobel Prize-winner in Physics (1977), Philip Anderson signs a pamphlet titled "Anderson on Science".
Pamphlet signed: "Philip W. Anderson", 7p, 8½x11. Titled "Anderson on Science" on his cover photograph, signed on the second page above subtitle: "an interview with the/Nobel Prize laureate". Anderson shared the 1977 Nobel Prize in Physics for his "fundamental theoretical investigations of the electronic structure of magnetic and disordered systems". Harvard-educated Anderson conducted research in physics at Bell Labs from 1949-1989. He carried out research into quantum theory, especially theoretical physics, of solid, magnetism, superconductivity and superfluidity, sharing the 1977 Nobel Prize with John van Vleck and Neville Mott for their fundamental theoretical investigation of the electronic structure of magnetic and disordered systems, work related to the properties of semiconductors. Cover lightly creased with paper clip impression. Signature page, fine. Overall, fine condition.
