Miss America (1971) Phyllis George went on to become an Emmy-winning sports announcer for CBS, the first woman to cover the National Football League. She married John Y. Brown Jr., KFC and sports franchise owner and Governor of Kentucky (1979-1983). She has written several books about the native crafts of her adopted state of Kentucky. She made her movie debut in Meet the Parents (2000) and introduced her own line of skin care products in 2004. Two items.
